Enabling Water Smart Communities (EWSC) is a project that is innovating our relationship with water. We’ll update this page regularly with project-based news and insights as the project progresses.
EWSC is a collaborative project led by Anglian Water with partners including Thames Water, United Utilities, Arup and support from the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, leading academics, developers and housing associations.
The project vision is rethinking whole-life water stewardship to accelerate the adoption of integrated water management, supporting communities and the environment to thrive. Working directly with housing associations and developers, it will develop a transferable framework and large evidence base for integrated water management solutions, including the broader benefits for communities and the environment.
